– 3 years college diploma or higher or 5 years related experience
– Ability to read architectural drawings & specifications
– Thorough knowledge of architectural casework and millwork
– Strong computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
Daily Responsibilities for Managing Projects
– Primary point of contact for external contacts (general contractors, architects, designers, homeowners, etc.)
– Primary point of contact for internal contacts (sales, design, purchasing, plant supervisor, etc.)
– Manage all of the project’s details and communications, internally and externally, including:
o Field Measuring (shared with Engineering Supervisor)
o Product Specification Sheets
o Requests for Information (RFI)
o Change Orders
o Punch Lists
– Disciplined adherence to the Lloyd’s Custom Woodwork’s Process Flow Chart
– Weekly updates communicated to all project members
– Provide physical schedule to all involved on project with regular updates
– Diligently follow new and changed items from conception to Change Order through execution ensuring that billable vs non-billable work is clearly defined
– Coordinate deliveries with Plant Supervisor, Installers, Subcontractors, and Clients
– Coordinate project installation with Installers, Subcontractors, and Clients
– Ultimately responsible for quality control of installed product, during installation and at completion
– Maintain project documentation (both photos and notes) for at least 2 years after project completed
Samples Responsibilities
– Work with client to define sample materials and finishes
– Schedules timing of sample completion and delivery
– Works closely with Plant and Finishing Supervisors regarding sample creation
– Creates Work Orders and coordinate material orders with Purchasing as needed
– Creates submittal packages for samples and ships to client for approval
– Discusses any issues or rejections as needed and communicate final approval
Continuous Improvements Responsibilities
– Keep current on projects you’re coordinating, procedures, company policies and project process flow
– A commitment towards continuous improvement, especially the Project Manager procedures
– Suggest continuous improvements of other procedures to gain maximum efficiency
– Must be willing to take job related courses as required by the company
– Ability to speak English
– Proficient with math & basic office skills
– Self-motivated, professional ethics, and desire to advance
– Ability to work independently, but willing to respond to critical feedback
– Valid driver’s license
– Legal documentation for working in the United States
